Kylor Berkman

Kylor Berkman is an accomplished lacrosse coach, former All-American player, and respected program builder with True Lacrosse. With 20 years of coaching experience across youth, club, and collegiate levels, Berkman is widely recognized for developing high-performing teams and advancing athletes to the next level. 

At the collegiate level, Berkman spent time on staff at Salisbury University and Aurora University, including a decade as a head coach. During his head coaching tenure, he compiled an outstanding .83 winning percentage, captured six conference championships, and guided his program to four NCAA Sweet 16 appearances. His leadership earned him Conference Coach of the Year honors four times, and he was recognized as the Ace Adams Sportsmanship Award recipient. Berkman has also served the broader game as an NCAA All-American Selection Committee representative. 

As a player at Salisbury University, Berkman was one of the premier players in the country. He was named the 2008 National Player of the Year, earned First Team All-American honors three times, and was twice named Midfielder of the Year. A two-time team captain and two-time National Champion, Berkman went on to play professionally in Major League Lacrosse and on the LXM Pro Tour. 

In the club landscape, Berkman has coached across all age groups for more than 15 years and has helped place over 200 athletes into collegiate lacrosse programs at all levels. He currently serves as the National Black 2030 Coach for True Lacrosse, a team that was ranked No. 1 nationally by USCLUBLAX in Summer 2025. He also leads the Illinois AAA 2030 team, which finished ranked among the Top 5 nationally in 2025. 

Known for his high standards, structured teaching approach, and ability to connect with athletes and families, Berkman continues to play a key role in elevating the competitive and developmental standards within True Lacrosse programs nationwide.
