A native of Acton, Massachusetts, Julia attended and competed at Acton Boxborough Regional High School between 2013-2017. Julia played varsity lacrosse and basketball throughout her four years. Upon graduation, Julia enrolled in Hamilton College located in Clinton, New York. Julia was a member of the varsity lacrosse, basketball, and soccer programs during her time at Hamilton. In her junior year, COVID-19 struck and ended her collegiate athletics career.
Before graduating in the spring of 2021, Julia began coaching lacrosse full time at the Central Lacrosse Club and Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School. She went on to coach two years collegiately at division III and division I schools. While coaching collegiately, Julia began and completed her Master’s degree in Sport Journalism from St. Bonaventure University.
Julia also is a proud member of the Israel Women’s Lacrosse National Team. She competed in the World Championships in Baltimore, Maryland during the summer of 2022. During the championships, Israel placed 6th in the world. Julia currently is a member of Israel’s Box Lacrosse National Team that will compete in the European Championships this summer in Prague.
Currently, Julia works full time at the Groton School in the athletic department and the global education department. Julia also serves as the head girls’ varsity lacrosse coach and head girls’ varsity basketball coach. Julia also owns her own on-field lacrosse training business, J2R Lacrosse, for competitive female lacrosse players ages 16 to 22.
