Erin Hellmold
Erin Wellner Hellmold currently serves as Vice President at True Lacrosse, where she provides strategic leadership across program development, operations, and national initiatives. In this role, Erin helps guide organizational vision while supporting athletes, families, and staff through clear structure, collaboration, and high standards of excellence.Â
Previously, Erin was the Virginia Girls Director for True Lacrosse, where she launched and built the program from the ground up beginning in 2021. Under her leadership, the Virginia girls platform experienced significant growth, establishing strong foundations in coaching, culture, and athlete development. Erin also served as National Teams Director, overseeing national‑level programming and aligning regional efforts with organizational goals.Â
Erin brings over a decade of collegiate coaching experience, having coached women’s lacrosse at Stevens Institute of Technology and Georgetown University. Her collegiate background has shaped a development‑first philosophy focused on competitive excellence, accountability, and preparing athletes to succeed at the next level both on and off the field.Â
As a former student‑athlete, Erin played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins University, where she was a two‑time team captain. She remains listed in the Johns Hopkins women’s lacrosse record books for career statistics, a testament to her leadership, competitiveness, and impact on the program.Â
Across all roles, Erin is known for building strong relationships, creating organized and efficient systems, and fostering environments where athletes and staff are supported and challenged. Her leadership philosophy centers on empowerment, clear communication, and long‑term athlete development.Â
