Ali Wessel has served as Assistant Director for True Lacrosse Pittsburgh since 2022 and as Marketing Administrator since 2025, overseeing program development, athlete training, and organizational strategy.Â
In the Marketing Administrator role, Ali manages the internal ticketing system for marketing support requests, assigns tasks to team members based on skillset and availability, tracks progress to ensure deadlines are met, and supports project management and other marketing initiatives. Ali also analyzes weekly lead generation data to identify trends and recommend initiatives for the marketing team.Â
As Assistant Director, Ali coordinates eight travel teams, including communication with players and parents. Ali plans and executes club events such as tryouts, practices, clinics, and tournaments, manages social media, schedules and oversees logistics for travel tournaments, handles hiring, payroll, and management of all part-time coaches, and advises players in their pursuit of college athletics.Â
Since 2022, Ali has also served as Assistant Coach at Chatham University, helping lead the lacrosse team to its first-ever PAC Championship appearance in 2025. Ali played lacrosse as a four-year starter at both Oberlin College and Nottingham Trent University, combining firsthand competitive experience with coaching and administrative expertise. Ali holds a Master’s degree from Nottingham Trent University (2022) and a Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College (2021).Â
