A native of Long Island, New York, Chris moved to Indiana in 1996 to play for the Butler University Division I Lacrosse program, where the team won the Great Western Lacrosse League Championship in 1998. Following graduation, he began his coaching career as the Head Assistant Coach at Park Tudor High School. After three seasons, Chris took over the program at Westfield High School and also coached Team Indiana, the Indiana High School Lacrosse Association’s All-Star team.
Since 2018, Chris has focused on developing the Westfield youth program, where he currently serves as the Westfield Youth Sports Boys Lacrosse Commissioner and Head Coach of the 14U team. During the club season, Chris serves as the True Indiana Director of Youth Player Development and Head Coach of the 2031 Green Team. He also serves as the Boys Vice President for the Indiana Youth Lacrosse Association (IYLA) and previously completed two terms as Vice President of the Indiana High School Lacrosse Association (IHSLA).
Professionally, Chris is the owner of Empire Lacrosse, Indiana’s original lacrosse specialty store, which has served the lacrosse community for more than 22 years.
Outside of lacrosse, Chris enjoys watching his son play hockey. He resides in Westfield, Indiana, with his wife, Jenny, and their 13-year-old son, Cole.
