Katie Coleman Bergmann leads True MA Central, bringing more than a decade of program-building experience across the youth, high school, club, and collegiate levels.
Katie is no stranger to True. She served as True Illinois Director from 2020 to 2022 before relocating to Colorado, where she launched and led the True Colorado girls program from 2022 to 2024. She also coaches within the True National Team program, giving her a firsthand understanding of the standard our most elite athletes are held to.
At the collegiate level, Katie serves as Defensive Coordinator at Tufts University, where the program reached the NCAA National Championship game in 2025 and returned to the Final Four in 2026. Her high school tenures at Hinsdale Central (IL) and Mead (CO) produced a state championship and Coach of the Year honors. She played collegiately at Regis University.
Above all, Katie builds cultures where athletes develop as players and as leaders — the foundation of everything we do at True.
