True Lacrosse Launches United Sixes, a New National Platform Built for Olympic-Format Sixes Lacrosse

In partnership with USA Lacrosse, United Sixes opens training camps in markets nationwide this fall and will operate open-to-all PLL Play Sixes Leagues in select states — building a clear pathway for players of every background ahead of Sixes’ Olympic debut at the LA28 Games

LOMBARD, Ill. — Aug. 21, 2026

True Lacrosse, a brand of True Sports Group (TSG), the nation’s largest club lacrosse organization, today announced the launch of United Sixes, a new national platform built entirely around Sixes lacrosse — the fast-paced, six-a-side format set to make its Olympic debut at the 2028 Games in Los Angeles. Powered by True Lacrosse and developed in partnership with USA Lacrosse — which oversees the U.S. Olympic teams — United Sixes gives athletes of every age, background, and skill level a dedicated home to discover, train, and compete in the format reshaping the sport.

“The Game Is Evolving. Be United” is the platform’s launch line, and it points directly at what makes Sixes different: rules built for constant transition, more touches, and more possessions for every player on the field. United Sixes was created to give that format a national infrastructure: a place to learn it, play it locally, and climb toward national-level competition.

United Sixes is intentionally built as an open, sport-first platform — not a closed True Lacrosse product. It welcomes athletes from any club, school, or lacrosse background, while drawing on True Lacrosse’s 18-year track record and national infrastructure: more than 500 teams, 11,000-plus athletes, and full-time directors and coaches across 25-plus states.

“Sixes is already changing how this game gets played and who gets to play it — faster, more open, more accessible. United Sixes gives every athlete, whether they’ve trained with True Lacrosse for years or are picking up a stick for the first time, a clear way in and a real path forward, all the way to the national stage.”

— Dan Forsyth, CEO, True Sports Group

UNITED SIXES TO OPERATE PLL PLAY SIXES LEAGUES THIS FALL
