A native of Katonah, N.Y and a product of John Jay-Cross River High School, Schneidman was a two-time USILA All-America First Team selection at Cortland State. A sophomore starter at close defense on the 2009 national championship team, he was a three-year All-SUNYAC selection, including first team in 2010 and 2011, two-time First Team All-ECAC honoree (2010 and 2011) and 2011 North-South all-star game selection. He concluded his career with 139 ground balls, 81 caused turnovers, four assists and one goal over 59 games played. Schneidman is the all-time caused turnover leader with 81 and holds the top two single-season marks with 50 (2010) and 31 (2011). In October 2020, he was named to the SUNYAC All-Decade Team.Â
