True Indiana Director

Calista Richmond

We are excited to introduce Calista Richmond as the new Director of True Indiana Girls Lacrosse. Calista brings a strong playing background, valuable coaching experience, and a genuine passion for developing athletes both on and off the field.

Originally from Portage, Michigan, Calista played attack for 10 years before continuing her career at Trine University, where she became one of the most accomplished players in program history. She was named MIAA Rookie of the Year, earned First Team All-MIAA honors three times, and still holds Trine’s career records for points, points per game, assists, and assists per game despite playing just three seasons.

Following her collegiate career, Calista spent her first club seasons coaching with Kentucky Pulse Lacrosse Club in Northern Kentucky, where she helped athletes build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game.

In addition to coaching, Calista is currently pursuing an online master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus on athletic populations. She believes that the best coaches invest in the whole athlete, and her continued education reflects her commitment to supporting athletes not only in their performance, but also in their personal growth and well-being.

Calista’s competitive background, leadership, and passion for athlete development make her an outstanding fit for True Indiana. We are excited for our athletes and families to get to know her and are confident she will continue building on the intentional culture and strong foundation that make this program so special.
