True Lacrosse Programs & Offerings
True Lacrosse welcomes players at every level, from beginner to advanced. Our teams are designed to provide players with coaching and training specific to their level of play. While we do have advanced programs, we also offer programming for those players who are new to the game with little-to-no experience. Please contact the director in your area to determine which level is right for you.

True Lacrosse has all the tools to help players get recruited: from meticulous training and development on the field, to a full-time recruiting staff and our vast network of positive working relationships with every college coach in the country. Our approach is proven successful, as we have helped over 2,500 players continue their careers in college.
While the majority of our programs host tryouts for their teams during the end of summer/early fall, we also host tryouts and prospect clinics throughout the year as needed.
If your child cannot make tryouts, please contact the director to inquire about an alternate date or arrange for a private evaluation.

True Lacrosse offers private lessons and small group training. Please contact the director in your area program map to inquire about availability and to schedule your lessons/training.
While we encourage all our athletes to compete throughout the full year with True Lacrosse, we also encourage keeping a stick in your hand during off periods/seasons with a local recreational, school, or community program.
About True Lacrosse
The True Lacrosse Headquarters are located just outside Chicago, IL. The address is 131 Eisenhower Ln N, Lombard, IL 60148. However, we have programs in over 20 states across the country. Check out our program map to find a program near you.
The True Lacrosse Referral Program enlists the help of others to grow the game. When you refer a friend to True Lacrosse and they register to play, you can receive a credit toward a future travel team registration (for current players), or a gift card (for those not currently affiliated with True Lacrosse). True Lacrosse employs full-time travel coordinators to assist our directors and every team with their travel arrangements for tournaments.
New to the Sport
A great first step would be to refer to the USA Lacrosse website (https://www.usalacrosse.com/). If you are interested in getting an introductory level training, True Lacrosse offers clinics for beginners, as well as private instructional lessons. Contact your local director to learn more.
It’s not too late at all! True Lacrosse welcomes players at every stage in their development, from beginner to advanced. Check out our upcoming events in your area to get started, reach out to the director in your area to learn more about how to get involved in your local program, and sign up to receive emails from True Lacrosse so you can be the first to know about events and tryouts near you.
For boys, this includes a helmet, stick, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, mouthguard, and protective cup. Rib pads are optional; goalies require additional equipment.
For girls, this includes a stick, mouthguard, and protective eyewear. For further clarification or more detail, please reach out to your program director. Gloves and headgear are optional; goalies require additional equipment.

Registration and Payments

The cost to participate on True Lacrosse’s travel teams varies by team. Please contact your local director for a quote.
The cost to register your son/daughter for a True Lacrosse team includes all training and practices, coaching, tournament fees, and extensive recruiting guidance.
All fees paid to True Lacrosse (paid in full or payment plans) are non-refundable. All True Lacrosse customers are given the option to purchase registration insurance through Reg Saver to protect against unforeseen events.
True National
True National is a program designed to host the top players from True Lacrosse’s boys and girls programs across the country. These teams offer a 12-month commitment, during which time players gain access to highly competitive events, unrivaled recruiting support, and additional training opportunities for continued growth and development.
Players are selected to True National by our staff from National ID Clinics, All-Region participation, and State director recommendations.
National players are required to wear National uniforms designed exclusively for our teams by our partner, Lax.com.
Film is included for all high school players from the events they attend.
True Lacrosse prides itself on offering programming that meets players where they are in their development as lacrosse players. True National offers the highest level of training, coaching, development, and competition available in the country today. Learn more about the True National program here.
Boys’ National — Yes, families have the option of paying for their National team dues over the course of 10 months.
